New specialty clinic looking for an experienced veterinary technician who is excited to expand their skills into veterinary ophthalmology. The position responsibilities include receptionist coverage and technician duties, not limited to:
- Anesthesia monitoring and induction
- Pre-examination diagnostic testing
- Phlebotomy and catheter placement
- Obtaining patient vitals and administration of treatments
- Instrument sterilization
- Positive client communication
- Standing, sitting, or bending for extended periods of time and lifting up to 40 pounds
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
A qualified candidate should share our desire to work with owners in their pet's care, be reliable, a fast learner, and dedicated to a team environment. The position is part-time with the potential for full-time hours.
