Our school was established in 1964 and is affiliated with the North American Montessori Teachers Association and is a "Full Member School" with the American Montessori Society. Our Montessori credentialed teachers, together with parents of our students, form a closely bonded community. Our Montessori program focuses on strong fundamental academic preparation in language arts, science, mathematics, music and coordination.

Qualifications:
AMS or AMI certification
12 ECE semester units (or equivalent quarter units) preferably in the following courses:
Must have at least 2 years working in a primary classroom
Must be able to pass the fingerprinting clearance and show proof of recent TB test and physical exam
Summary of Responsibilities:
Under the direction of a Head Montessori Teacher, the Montessori Preschool Teacher is responsible for developing, implementing and carrying out a daily class plan designed to enrich students’ lives by providing lessons which follow the established school curriculum and present to the students a motivated, effective and enriching learning opportunity.
