Job Purpose

The Sr. Graphic Designer creates and directs graphics-related work for the retail stores for Pressed Juicery. The Sr. Graphic Designer, reporting to the Marketing Manager, will handle a variety of custom print/digital design projects including print advertising, retail signage, social media assets, direct mail pieces, packaging, collateral marketing pieces, logos, regional initiatives, digital campaigns, direct mail campaigns, flyers, and other promotional and presentation materials. The Sr. Graphic Designer will manage three Graphic Designers. **Must work onsite 2 days/week in Culver City, CA (Tuesday/Wednesday).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement design strategies to enhance retail brand image.
• Design and create branded graphics for a variety of marketing channels, including social media, email, website and print material.
• Lead the design function of marketing materials by providing creative direction and applicable design talent, with an emphasis on high volume campaign work.
• Create new designs for internal and external printed marketing materials including signage, flyers, brochures, advertising, posters and direct marketing materials.
• Create presentation materials to support training, management meeting, and executive presentations.
• Develop and implement design strategies to enhance company’s brand image.
• Think strategically to further creative concepts and communication strategies.
• Oversee digital assets for design team and develop a stock photo library for team use.
• Act as a senior member of the team aiding in the growth and mentoring of our junior teammates.

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design; or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a graphic designer
• Minimum 2 years’ design management experience
• Experience working for Beauty and/or CPG/Food premium brand highly preferred.

Required Skills

• Proficient in design programs including Adobe Creative Cloud; especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong creative and conceptual skills.
• Strong knowledge of print production methods.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy/quality, detail oriented.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, a customer service focus, and the ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
• A self-starter who takes ownership of projects and develops solutions that show off their creative approach to asks.
• Knowledge of retail / restaurant business preferred.
• Must have online portfolio.
