**Position: Automotive Technician**

**Responsibilities:**

• Perform repair work on each repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership, state, and factory standards.
• Address the customer's primary concern with diagnosis, repair, and quality control to attain Fixed First Visit expectations.
• Perform Electronic Multi-Point Inspection on every vehicle.
• Notify the Service Advisor immediately of any unexpected issues or additional time required for repairs.
• Master our Dealer Management System (Dealertrack) for timekeeping, work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, and communication.
• Maintain a clean workspace and accountability for all dealership-owned tools.
• Excel in factory-sponsored training classes.
• Stay updated on all factory technical bulletins.
• Understand and adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Leave no trace in a customer's car by keeping it clean.
• Fulfill any other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications:**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individual should possess:

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Graduation from a recognized Automotive/Technical School.
• Prior automotive technician work experience, factory trained, and/or manufacturer certified is preferred.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, enthusiastic presence with an ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
• Ability to apply a common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Excellent driving record.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug screen.
