Blue Ridge Cardiovascular Associates is Hiring an Experienced Medical Assistant Near Culpeper, VA

A private, patient-centered cardiology practice is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly organized Medical Assistant to join our team. The candidate must be professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, the candidate must be able to maintain patient confidentiality, multitask, be extremely attentive to detail and thoroughly enjoy working with patients and our team members.

Responsibilities of this part time position (Monday - Thursday) include all aspects of patient care, including, but not limited to, preparing patient for exam, taking vitals, EKG, medical record preparation, applying holter monitors and event monitors, assisting in the PT/INR Clinic, triaging phone calls, e-scripts and all other tasks for patient care under the supervision of the Clinical Care Coordinator.

*** Only those with actual experience working in a medical practice as a Medical Assistant need apply. Please do not apply for this position if you have not worked in a medical practice setting.***

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Education/Degree/License: Certified Medical Assistant - Preferred, but not required

Certifications: BLS - Preferred, but not required

Experience: At least one year of cardiology experience in a medical practice; proficiency in an EMR environment (experience with eClinical Works is a plus)
