Job Title: IT Operations Supervisor

Job Summary: Bingham & Taylor, a leader in the American manufacturing industry for 175 years, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Operations Supervisor to join our team in the Culpeper/ Fredericksburg area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT help desk leadership, extensive experience with Microsoft products, and a solid understanding of software, hardware, and networking. This role also requires experience in manufacturing and ERP support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the IT Help Desk team, ensuring efficient and effective support for all users both internal and external.
• Provide technical support for Microsoft products, including Windows OS, Office Suite, and other related applications.
• Support manufacturing systems and ERP software, ensuring smooth operation and addressing any technical issues promptly.
• Manage hardware and software installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
• With third party support, maintain and enhance the company’s IT infrastructure, including networking and server management.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Train and mentor help desk staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Monitor help desk performance metrics and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure seamless integration and support of all systems.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in an IT Help Desk role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products and technologies.
• Experience with manufacturing systems and ERP support.
• Strong knowledge of software, hardware, and networking.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
