Job Title : Special Education Teacher

Location : Crystal, MN

Job Description : Soliant is currently seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Crystal, MN. The Special Education Teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities, collaborate with colleagues and families, and ensure all students have access to a quality education.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Provide direct instruction in various academic subjects and life skills
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities
• Assess student progress and modify instructional plans as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to support student learning
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development activities

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Minnesota state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
• Knowledge of special education laws and best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

State Licensure Requirements :

Applicants for the Special Education Teacher position in Crystal, MN, must hold or be eligible for licensure as a Special Education Teacher in the state of Minnesota.
