The Manager in Training program is a 4-month rotational program to learn the sales tactics,operations and corporate responsibilities of an Associate Group Sales Manager (GSM) at PLS Logistics.
The Manager in Training is a fantastic opportunity to fast-track your career in management while receiving on-the-job training in every aspect of a rapidly growing organization:
Months 1-2: Sales training Month 3: OperationstrainingMonth 4: Corporate rotations and program graduation
This role will be based at PLS’s corporate headquarters in Cranberry Township, PA and will work Monday – Friday, 745am-515pm in the office.
More on what you will do:• Immerse yourself in the world of freight brokerage sales.• Learn about PLS Logistics Services and the logistics industry.• Hear from our top home-grown leaders on how to be successful.• Understand how to negotiate pricing to close the deal.• Work with carriers and cover shipments.• Take charge of client service issues to the point of resolution.• Rotate between marketing, finance, human resources, and national accounts to understand how the departments are run.As a Manager in Training, you will be expected to have prior experience with:• Leadership – in the classroom, on the playing field, socially or anywhere else!• On-campusinvolvement (ex. Greek life, fundraisers, community service
