Responsibilities
  • Deeply understand our customers, markets and competitors to produce valuable customer insight that can be turned into profitable features, products and services
  • Build strategy that is robust, progressive, forward-thinking and drives accelerated business performance with sustainable competitive advantage, time-to-market and development efficiency
  • Own, build and drive the success of our product and services vision, strategy and roadmap
  • Develop and drive unique, differentiated business models that support our strategy and align with customer buying behavior
  • Work closely with our design team to drive human-centered design processes into the development process and come to life with amazing UX/UI experiences that hit at the heart of our customers' problems
  • Work methodically to tackle complex, difficult problems to deliver innovative solutions
  • Lead voice of customer (VOC) and other market research and apply technology and market trend knowledge into New Product Development (NPD) efforts
  • Work cross-functionally across the business - engineering, design, operations, sales - to drive tangible business value and results
  • Drive prioritization & focus on features, products, services and efforts that deliver maximum business value to avoid organizational distractions
  • Get things done - setting expectations for excellence and hitting key performance indicators that are aggressive & challenging
  • Support the Sales organization in the development and deployment of product training programs, by providing technical support, by assisting with the identification of new customers, and by assisting with the management of key customers
  • Lead the customer response portion of the Critical to Quality Notification process and in the monitoring and resolution of all product quality issues
  • Analyze and understand the competitive landscape and market trends that impact the product lines
  • Provide strategic input to the Fixed Monitoring and Fieldserver Gateway Global Steering Teams
Qualifications
  • Understanding of Software Development Process and Lifecycles
  • Familiarity with Industrial and Building Management Communication Protocols
  • Comprehension of Computer Networking technologies and Topologies
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and the ability to work at high-speeds with incomplete information
  • Outstanding organization, communication, presentation and leadership through influence skills
  • Solid analytical and quantitative skills with a demonstrated data-driven mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and execute many tasks in parallel with minimal resources
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly adaptive to frequent change - you don't just accept it, it's when you do your best work
  • Solid technical knowledge and learning capabilities of the assigned product lines and corresponding applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Domestic/international travel of up to 20%
Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • This role is offered at three levels, dependent on experience and skill level:
    • Level One: 5 years in marketing, sales, or product development
    • Level Two: 7 years in marketing, sales, or product development
    • Level Three: 9 years in marketing, sales, or product development
      • Note: MBA or related graduate degree may be substitutes for up to 2 years of experience
