Camp McCullough (Covington, WA) - FPC Tacoma is Hiring a Summer Camp Counselor (Seasonal) Near Covington, WA
Counselors are responsible for modeling a genuine Christian lifestyle to campers of a variety of ages, providing campers safety and well-being while befriending campers to nurture spiritual growth through program activities and experiences while at Camp McCullough.

RELATIONSHIPS
● Reports to the Camp Operation Director
● Agreement with FPC of Tacoma’s theological positions.
● Faith in Jesus Christ that is lived out daily.
● Evidence of personal and spiritual maturity.
● Love for and ability to relate to and communicate with youth.
● Experience (paid or volunteer) in Youth Ministry or youth-related field, such as education, Christian education, or athletics.
● College age preferred
● Approved Washington State background check (over 18).
● Evidence of steady church involvement and biblical knowledge.
● Leadership skills and teaching ability.
● Ability to accept and learn from constructive criticism.
● Flexibility and team spirit.
WORK SCHEDULE
June 1st - Camp Training. July 1st - August 12th - Youth Camps. Camps generally run Sunday noon - Thursday evenings. Some through Friday or Saturday mornings. Weekends off, or can work on kitchen staff for weekend groups.
SALARY This position is paid by the week. Housing provided.
