Role Description

This is a full-time Junior Graphic Designer role in Costa Mesa, CA. The Junior Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating and managing a range of visual assets, including, but not limited to, print and digital materials across our B2B and B2C business lines. This role will report to our Senior Graphic Designer.

Essential Job Functions

• Design promotional and seasonal creative following brand standards
• Version seasonal and quarterly creative for printed and online use, including social media advertising, display ads, posters, flyers, magazine ads, banners, brochures etc.
• Communicate directly with the Marketing Specialist and Marketing Director to deliver individual project requests - studio ad placement, print, email, social material etc.
• Manage print portal - Provide packaged files and communicate directly with vendor
• Design material to be used for internal training, marketing, or segment marketing
• Understanding and a willingness to strengthen their Motion Graphics abilities
• Create both static and video assets for all social media platforms
• Ability to ideate, innovate, and create compelling marketing collateral for digital and print
• Design internal templates and presentations
• Deep understanding of digital and print typography, layout, design principles, color, trends, and best practices.
• Basic copywriting and editing skills for promotional materials and internal presentations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellence in Adobe Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
• Experience designing print and digital advertisements
• Understanding of digital content, including mobile ads and applications
• Organizational skills
• Must be detail-oriented, service-oriented, and have a positive, can-do attitude

Experience

• 2-3 years of graphic design experience
• Proficient in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and Figma.
• 2 years of additional experience in one or more of the following: HTML coding, social media marketing, copywriting, photo and video editing
• Franchise system experience a plus.
