*****RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Creating precise, accurate, detailed technical drawings and plans for various carpentry projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
· Interpret drawings and spec designs, identify conflicts where necessary
· Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations.
· Collaborate with team members to resolve design issues.
· Conduct site visits as necessary.
· Maintain accurate documentation of all drawings and revisions.
· Identify material requirements for pricing and ordering needs.
· Create RFI’s and present options and cost implications.
· Create and codify 3D shop drawings for optimum manufacturing and installation.
*****THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
· Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Rhino, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
· Experience with luxury custom homes, construction, and custom carpentry.
· Proven ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy.
· Understanding of engineering principles and construction techniques.
· Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
