We’re looking to hire a Product Business Specialist for a Fortune 500 financial services client. Company culture fosters a collaborative and respectful environment where innovation is encouraged.

You’ll join the Product team to define and document comprehensive product and business requirements for new features and enhancements, including functional, non-functional, and reporting requirements. This contract goes until 3/31/25 extension and possible convert to perm. The team is located in Costa Mesa, CA, and is hybrid on-site several times per month.

Product Business Analyst (Agile Scrum) Responsibilities:

• Oversee all stages of product development, from concept and consumer validation to design, implementation, launch, maintenance, and analysis.
• Develop a user experience that utilizes data insights to identify individuals in the market for a vehicle or assist those already actively shopping.
• Collaborate with agile Scrum teams to create clear and concise user stories that articulate user needs.
• Partner with the UX and Design teams to establish detailed UX and design requirements, encompassing information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and visual design elements.
• Champion user research initiatives, ensuring that user insights feed into the product development and UX processes.
• Manage third-party integrations to support strategic partnerships and act as the primary product point of contact for implementation.
• Work effectively with other business units to define, align, scope, prioritize, implement, launch, and continuously refine product features that leverage capabilities.
• Make strategic trade-off decisions regarding functionality, resources, and schedules, effectively communicating with stakeholders and technology teams to manage change.
• Ensure that products and features deliver an optimal user experience across all customer touchpoints, including websites, mobile apps, email/SMS/push notifications, call centers, and insurance agent scripts.
• Own the product backlog for assigned agile teams, prioritizing tasks, facilitating grooming sessions and sprint planning, and ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Monitor the competitive landscape, conduct SWOT analyses of competitors, track industry trends and supplier capabilities, and synthesize this information to inform product strategy.
• Ensure all product and related issues raised by operations, call centers, or partners are resolved efficiently and keep the department informed of progress.
• In collaboration with relevant teams, establish and implement operational standards, processes, and procedures for the ongoing operation of these products.

Product Business Analyst (Agile Scrum) Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data analysis and interpretation.
• Experience working within an Agile Scrum development methodology.
• Proven ability to write clear and concise user stories.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
