Warehouse Supervisor Job Responsibilities: We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team and assist in managing our warehouse operations in Brooklyn, New York. You will manage the overnight sortation of inventory arriving at our warehouse to its successful staging. You’ll perform a critical function in owning the receipt of parcels arriving at our warehouse and distributing routed parcels to our partner fleets, while overseeing a staff of 5-10 warehouse associates. You will:

• Oversee the arrival of parcels and confirm inventory accuracy.
• Assist in sorting packages into designated sort groups and oversee accurate sorting.
• Distribute sorted route bags to our fleet drivers.
• Monitor drivers while order sequencing is performed and provide troubleshooting if necessary.
• Receive undeliverable parcels from drivers and appropriately manage.
• Collaborate with the Field Ops manager and assist in overseeing associates.
• Assist the operations team with fulfillment and quality control.
• Escalate issues to the Field Ops Manager when necessary.
• Ensure that company policies and SOPs are followed.
• Work with basic functions within Hailify’s backend software.

Requirements

• 1-3 years work experience with at least 1 years in a manager role in the appropriate field - Logistics/operations, remote management, last mile delivery, customer support, and/or startup experience are all a plus
• Experience overseeing / building teams in customer service, logistics, and/or account management
• Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
• Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, and employee management
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory

Work Hours and Compensation: This is a full time position with multiple openings. Working shifts would be for either the morning 6AM-2PM, afternoon from 10AM - 6PM or night from 4PM - 12AM, 5 days per week as decided upon by Hailify Operations Management. This position will require some weekends. Compensation is:

• ~$45K annual salary (commensurate with experience)
