The Essentials:
Daily:
- Maintain the staff behavior and performance tracker
- Ensure accurate clock in and out for all staff
- Ensure to address and follow up on customer inquiries
- Ensure that POS system is up-to-date and accurate
- Ensure menu is clear, accurate, profitable, and up to date
- Review reservations system for accuracy and maximum seating potential
- Review Opening and closing duties and give feedback to the team
- Update staffing based on reservations
Weekly:
- Write and maintain staff schedule for FOH and BOH.
- Educate all staff on operations and the policies of F.L.X. Hospitality and The Quincy Exchange/Quincy on Market.
- Works with Financial Director to review budgeting and controllable costs.
- Meeting with COO to review financial and hospitality goals, policies, issues and staffing needs.
- Execute weekly orderings for front of house, and back of house that do not fall on Beverage Director or Culinary Director
- Ensure accurate cash handling and sales reporting on every shift
Monthly:
- Participate in and make recommendations for QoM team member evaluations.
- Participate in monthly inventory reconciliation (as needed)
- Update, follow and implement all cleaning, stocking, rotating, opening/closing, and procedural checklists.
- Ensure the location operates in compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal laws
Ongoing Projects:
- Identify, develop, and offer training opportunities to the QoM team
- Recruit, hire and plan the training of new QOM staff
- Social media postings with current info on our product, promotions and general info
- Ensure the maintenance of a OPS handbook for FOH and BOH of all products sold and served in QOM including wine, beer, spirits, N/A beverages and food products
Preferred Competencies & Qualifications:
- ATAP or management approved Alcohol Service Certifications (FLXH will provide)
- 3-5 years of service/management experience required
- Software experience in Canva, TOCK, R365, Basecamp, Paylocity
- Organized and has attention to detail
- Able to fill any front of house role in event of staffing issues
- Cost control experience
- Labor cost control experience
Working Conditions:
- Self-directed with strong problem solving skills
- Nights and weekends required
- Positive and team focused attitude
- Ability to prioritize and facilitate while under pressure
