MATURA Head Start is Hiring a Classroom Assistant Near Corning, IA

```
Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and curriculum
- Provide support to students in their learning activities
- Help maintain a safe and positive classroom environment
- Assist with behavior management and student discipline as needed
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special needs
- Support the lead teacher in assessing student progress and providing feedback to parents/guardians

Experience:
- Previous experience working with students, preferably in an educational setting
- Familiarity with literacy education and lesson planning
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working with students with special needs is a plus
- Familiarity with curriculum development and early childhood education principles

This position requires a caring and patient individual who is passionate about educating and supporting young learners. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, strong communication skills, and a willingness to collaborate with the lead teacher to create a positive learning environment.

Please note that this is not a teaching position, but rather a support role in the classroom. The classroom aide will work closely with the lead teacher to assist in implementing educational activities and providing individualized support to students.
