901 Optical is Hiring an Optometric Technician Near Cordova, TN
Optometric technician skills include pretesting patients prior to exam with doctor by interviewing patients, assessing visual acuities, and utilizing technology such as autorefractor, iCare tonometer, and lensmeter. Our technician is also responsible for training new contact lens wearers and reordering/restocking our contact lens trials.
This is the first face a patient spends time with in our practice, and as such must be friendly and outgoing. Must be able to conduct oneself with professionalism and be reliable.
We utilize electronic records in our practice, so good computer skills are a must.
As a small office, we cross-train all employees for all positions, so scheduling, pulling insurance benefits, and selecting/dispensing eyewear will also be a smaller part of daily responsibilities.
Prior experience is preferred but not required.
Must be available M-F 8:30am-4:30pm.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
