JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT – Rapidly growing tech-enabled specialty pharmacy.

Perigon Pharmacy 360, LLC is looking for a dynamic staff accountant to fill a newly created position that is designed to support the rapidly growing business. We are a 50 state licensed specialty pharmacy that has merged industry leading patient engagement software with traditional specialty pharmacy services. THE POSITION:

At the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Junior Accountant is responsible for a variety of accounting tasks related to the monthly accounting cycle. This position requires proven knowledge of GAAP.

● Strong problem solving skills ● Great attention to detail & organizational skills● Strong communication skills; clear and concise, effective, patient and courteous ● Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced work environment and under tight deadlines● Quickbooks experience is preferred but not required

● Assist with analyzing financial information● Input accounts payable. Get approvals on invoices● Generate purchase orders and record purchases● Identify issues or changes to achieve profitability● Maintain records - Creating accounting entries for bank and credit card transactions● Receive mail/checks on a regular basis● Deposit checks and store supporting documentation● Generate monthly pharma program invoices● Inventory management at stated company operating levels● Responsible for monitoring purchasing● Responsible for monitoring and controlling shipping expense● Enter daily sales● Assist Accounting Manager with month-end and year-end close process● Reconcile bank statements● Collect and record employee expense reports● Report to the Accounting Manager and work to improve financial processes● Special projects as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
