Responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients through collaboration with a designated physician. Must be able to work independently.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Independently assess and treat patients with common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma
• Order diagnostic tests as appropriate, prescribe medications within scope of license.
• Promote preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, self-care skills, and use of prescribed medical treatments and medications through education and counseling.
• Regular attendance to ensure efficient operations
• Assess patient information provided from triage, conduct patient exam/procedures, and ultimately execute on treating appropriately to resolve the patient chief complaint.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, incision & drainage wound care.

Qualifications

• Current certification/license as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Nurse.
• Ability to learn and utilize Electronic Medical Records system
• Ability and willingness to work weekend and holiday work as required
• Comfortable seeing patients of all ages.
• Projects a positive image and has a “Patients First” attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
