Techno Aerospace is Hiring a Production Supervisor Near Coppell, TX
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading production team to achieve objectives. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge and excellent organizational skills.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, volume, quality, on-time delivery, lead times and efficiency
- Develop and implement production schedules to optimize productivity
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality control, to resolve any production issues
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Assuring compliance with company standards, ISO 9000 / AS 9100 procedures, and FAA regulations
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as production supervisor
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel required
- Experience in using an ERP system a plus
- Training in Lean Manufacturing required
- Prior experience working in ISO 9000 / AS 9100 environments required
- Familiarity with Vietnamese language a plus
- Experience in manufacturing of luxury furniture a plus
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot production issues
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
