Qualifications and responsibilities for this Professional Land Surveyor position include :
- Registered as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in Oregon (or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months)
- 5 years of practical field experience leading crews
- Proficient with survey instruments including Trimble GNSS, total stations, and levels
- Proficient with industry tools including TDS, AutoCAD, and Carlson Survey
- Supervise survey field crews and office technicians, either in person or remotely
- Prepare mapping / computations for cadastral / boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking
- Accurately and efficiently perform land survey work for both public and private clients on time and within budget
- Prepare cost estimates and write proposals
- Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to survey technicians
Salary : $95,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits : This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage (100% for employees and 55% for dependents), 401K with employer match, paid holidays, sick leave, vacation (increasing with tenure), continuing education, and flexible work schedules.
Additional benefits include profit sharing incentives, performance-based bonuses, and a potential moving allowance or signing bonus.
