DP Tire Service is a family owned business that has been operating in Big Rapids, MI for 26 years. We are leaders in the area providing commercial tire service to farms and fleets in the surrounding area. Our second location in Coopersville, MI is looking for a store manager to help grow our greater Grand Rapids business.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• 3-5 years’ commercial tires store operations (preferred, not required)
• Knowledge of commercial tires and retreading (preferred, not required)
• Ability to multitask and continually prioritize a changing workload
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong leadership skills and traits
• An aggressive and competitive nature to drive service goals
• The confidence to close a sale
• Superior communication skills – including listening and speaking/writing
• College degree preferred but not required

Duties Include, but not limited:

• Managing of Store operations as well as working with sales to increase accounts
• Creating work orders and overseeing the billing process
• Managing store inventory and procurement
• Managing Store personnel which includes hiring, firing, disciplinary action, payroll and training.
• Dropping off new inventory to customers and picking up tires that will be retreaded (larger inventory levels will be coordinated with a company driver)
• Company vehicle and fuel reimbursement provided
