Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is Hiring a HR Assistant Near Conway, SC

Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Generalist, is responsible for providing human resources support for the facility HR Director, which includes recruiting for vacant positions, conducting general employee orientations, maintaining all personnel records and files
Qualifications:
Education/Training:
  • Associates Degree in business administration or related field is preferred. Years of exp may be considered in lieu of Education.

Key Duties:
  • Assist in the recruitment of all lower level vacancies, including scheduling interviews, job placement in respective job areas,
  • Provides new hires with photo ID.
  • Prepares personnel files and maintain personnel records in accordance to facility and corporate personnel policies and guidelines as instructed by HRD.
  • Initiates criminal and background checks for all new hires. Maintains accurate record keeping of all pending background checks, and informs HRD of progress and for final review.
  • Assist new employees with completion of their personnel packets.
  • Audit personnel files, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
  • Assists HRD during open enrollment meetings, and enroll employees in health insurance and 401K plans when eligible. Submits proper documentation to Corporate HR, after consulting with facility HRD.
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual Human Resource reports pertaining to recruitment efforts from resume review to hired.
  • Responds to facility Human Resources Director requests for reports on timely basis.
  • Sensitive and aware of diverse cultures and their practices.
