The Deputy Sheriff will actively enforce laws, maintain order, protect life and property, investigate criminal activity, and educate the community on matters of public safety.
This position requires a current TCOLE Peace Officer license or upcoming Basic Peace Officer Course graduation. This is not a posting to attend a peace officer academy.

Testing Information: Applicants must be able to take and pass the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office POST test. All testing is facilitated in the MCSO Recruiting Division Office at 1 Criminal Justice Dr., Conroe, Texas, 77301. Test score requirements for this position are:

Shift Hours: Must be able to work 12-hour shifts with alternating 2-3 consecutive days on shift with 2-3 days off shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift times are 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am.
