A person in this position performs routine maintenance and cleanliness of buildings and facilities of the Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County
Education:
- Ability to read and write and any combination of education and experience that produces the required knowledge, skills, and abilities listed above. High School diploma or GED
Competencies/Experience:
- Working knowledge of the methods and techniques applied in manual labor and custodial work and cleaning practices.
- Working knowledge of the standard practices, material, tools, and equipment utilized in the cleaning and maintenance of buildings.
- Working knowledge of the occupational hazards and applicable safety precautions associated with custodial work.
- General knowledge of cleaning solutions and chemicals
- Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
- The ability to read and understand written instructions, to understand simple processes and the routine operation of machines; or WSACC may consider an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
License or Certification:
- Possession of a valid North Carolina drivers license.
- High school diploma or GED Equivalent
