Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
Duties:
- Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies
- Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for
- Generate financial reports related to accounts receivable activities
- Provide excellent customer service regarding billing inquiries
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role
- Knowledge of corporate accounting principles and procedures
- Ability to accurately post and update journal entries
