DaVita Kidney Care is Hiring a Dialysis Technician (PCT) Near Commerce, MI
DaVita is looking for a Dialysis Tech (PCT) to serve our patients at our Commerce Township Dialysis Center in Commerce Township, MI.We will train you!
- PLEASE NOTE* Full Time Non-Seasonal
Some details about this position:
- Operational Hours: Mon - Sat 4:00 am - 9:00 pm (rotational schedule and 10 - 12 hour shifts)
- Base Starting Pay of $17.75 an hour, paid training, and we cover the cost of your certification
- PCTs expected shifts for this clinic: 3-4 days/week with a minimum of two Saturdays/month and can be asked to start as early as 4:00 am
- Monitor, educate and provide care for up to 5 patients before, during and after dialysis treatment. Please note you will have exposure to blood and needles.
- Support your community and build relationships by caring for patients local to your town.
- You are reliable, love to learn, have a desire to help people, are looking for a career with a company you can grow with, are comfortable with early shifts and long hours on your feet, and love a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school *Please Note this is a State Requirement to obtain a Hemodialysis Certification
- Comfortable working around blood and needles, mixing acid or bicarb
- Desire for a career in the healthcare field and to care for chronically ill patients
- Flexibility and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Reliable transportation is extremely important
- Ability to work in a fast paced and high stress setting as part of a team while managing multiple responsibilities at a time
- Healthcare experience a plus including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
