We are hiring a Credit Specialist in our corporate office- Columbus, OH! As a Credit Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting new customer information and ensuring the customer is properly setup in our ERP to facilitate proper invoicing and communication with the customer.

What you’ll do:

  • Communicate with customers and FCX team members in courteous and professional manner.
  • Monitor and track customer credit applications received daily.
  • Complete setup of new customers in ERP system.
  • Collect and review customer credit references and utilize 3rd party credit reports to assess proper credit limits.
  • Update billing and other customer information in ERP as required.
  • Work with sales team to validate and release orders
  • Assess customer requirements to ensure invoices are processed and paid timely.

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor or Associates Degree in Accounting a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) required. Experience with Adobe Acrobat a plus.
  • Prophet 21 or similar ERP system a plus!
