The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is seeking a full-time Clinic Manager for its affiliated Ohio State Dental Faculty Practice (OSDFP). When our faculty dentists and faculty hygienists are not teaching the next generation of dentists and hygienists, our faculty provide expert care for children and adults through OSDFP and provide virtually every area of dental care available. The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is the fourth largest public dental school in the United States and it is the only public dental school in Ohio. The college is divided into ten divisions with all major ADA-recognized dental specialties represented. The College has approximately 600 students in its undergraduate and graduate programs.

Manages the overall clinical operations of the Ohio State Dental Faculty Practice; supervises day-to-day chairside operations of 50 faculty members practicing all nine dental specialties assuring high quality operations; hires, trains, supervises and evaluates dental support; provides leadership for the clinical operations; oversight of sterilization, compliance and infection control; inventories, orders and stocks supplies; orders and maintains equipment for all the operatory rooms; oversight of float pool of dental assistants and hygienists; serves as faculty contact for issues related to chairside support, supplies or equipment; completes monthly payroll reports for finance manager; back up to the DFP Director; on call for emergency patients on evening and weekends; create monthly doctor/dental assistant assignments; able to perform as hygienist or capture CBCT radiographs on a limited number of patients. Other duties as assigned.

$79,000.00 - $105,500.00/annually

Position Requirements

This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check and drug and alcohol screening.

Required: Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in Dental Hygiene. Three years of supervisory and experience chairside experience in a dental hygiene capacity required; extensive experience in a dental environment; knowledge of infection control and sterilization required; considerable; current dental hygiene license and current BLS/CPR required.

Desired: 4 to 8 years relevant experience desired.
