**Job Overview:** We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our medical facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that medical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized to maintain a safe and sterile environment. **Duties:** - Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment - Assemble instrument trays following established protocols - Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality - Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and sonic cleaners - Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes - Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques **Experience:** - Prior experience in sterile processing preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology - Familiarity with sterile processing techniques and aseptic practices - Certification in Sterile Processing preferred but not required This position offers the opportunity to work in a critical role within the healthcare industry, ensuring patient safety through proper sterilization practices.
