Description :

Clinical Coordinator, FT, Pharmacy, Piedmont Columbus Midtown

Ensures that all pharmacy personnel receive ongoing clinical training, competency assessment and performance improvement activities to improve delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients at facility.

Serves as the primary interface between the Department of Pharmacy Services and hospital committees (medical staff, nursing, coordinating medication use policies and procedures.

Facilitates and coordinates departmental and facility-wide programs / initiatives as needed or requested. Performs all duties and responsibilities of a Pharmacist.

Qualifications :

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED :

Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy with a Bachelors Degree or higher in Pharmacy.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

Completion of a pharmacy practice residency (or two years of clinical experience) plus an additional year of clinical experience required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :

Licensed as a registered Pharmacist in the State of Georgia.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :

Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties certification preferred. PGY1 Residency preferred.
