Job Summary

Make a real impact as a Special Education Substitute Teacher, where you’ll nurture students' academic and social skills in a supportive, private school environment.

Collaborate with Teacher II and a dynamic team of therapists, teacher assistants, youth care specialists, and more. You'll also connect with parents, schools, and treatment providers to ensure each child’s success.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirement for Substitute Teacher Certification (MO):

  • *36 semester credit hours from a regionally accredited college or university OR complete a 20-hour DESE-approved course.*
  • Must hold a degree and have completed a teacher preparation program OR apply for a Content Substitute Teacher Certificate through the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE).
