We offer 24 hour emergency service to our commercial customers 365 days a year.Job DescriptionPosition DescriptionReliable, self directed and hard working employee needed to help a residential/commercial numerous tasks at the job site. Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*Locates and determine electrical malfunctions using test instruments, such as ammeter, volt meter and ohm meter.*Repairs malfunctions by such methods as replacing burnt out elements and fuses by passing or replacing defective wiring using hand tools.*Tests electrical equipment, such as operators for safety and efficiency using standardequipment.*Installs motors and other electrical equipment and makes adjustments, using hand tools.*Inspects circuits and wiring for specified shielding and grounding and repairs or rewires system according to building codes and safety regulation.*Installs electrical circuitry.QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required)* Possession of a high school diploma or GED Certificate* Must have a good driving record* Knowledge of national and local electrical codes* Knowledge of theory, application, diagnostics and trouble shooting associated with electrical systems.* Ability to read and understand service manuals, test equipment instructions and blueprints.WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequent interruptions, changing prioritiesAbility to perform duties outside in inclement weather conditionsRequires ability to ascend ladders and work on lift platformsAbility to stand, stoop and bend for long periods of timeAbility to work in cramped cornersAbility to work in various types of environmental conditionsAbility to use hand and power toolsAdditional InformationJob RequirementsRequirements of a general laborer:* US Citizen* Valid Driver's License* Mandatory Overtime* Pre-employment drug screen* No fear of heightsBenefits Include:Health InsuranceDental401K Retirement PlanPaid (Major) HolidaysVacationOpportunity for growth
