The Ultra manufacturing function is responsible for the manufacture, integration and test of a wide range of products and systems providing innovative capabilities for our customers.
Nationality RequirementsCandidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.
Job DescriptionThe Assembly function in Ultra assembles and wires difficult and complex assemblies, using drawings, operation sets and engineering documents. The Test function will test, fault find and identify the repair to be undertaken on a range of products to meet our customer commitments in terms of quality and timescales. It ensure that the units under test have passed all the parameters as laid down in the Product Test Schedule before releasing.
Operator roles in Ultra work under the guidance of a supervisor to perform operations duties safely and effectively and complete assigned duties in a timely manner.
These roles perform a range of clearly defined procedures, and will typically be considered skilled through on-the-job experience. Resolves routine issues without supervisory approval. Has developed skills through formal training and/or work experience.
