Their Linux application is developed using Scrum Agile methodology. Most development is done in C language; some Python is used. We are looking for an experienced React.js developer to join our Web Applications team. To be successful in this role, the candidate should be proficient in React.js and the standard tools in its ecosystems, including Node.js and npm. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing user interface components for our software products using material design and mentoring other developers in JavaScript and React.js. Experience integrating React.js applications with RESTful APIs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Work as a member of a Scrum team.
• Work with Product Management to define behavioral and functional requirements.
• Work with other Scrum team members on software design.
• Develop and maintain web-based applications using the Scrum Agile methodology to deliver quality software in a timely schedule.
• Implement unit tests and support QA testing.
• Work with other Scrum team members to integrate software modules and ensure that the system operates per requirements.
• Attend Agile Scrum Standup, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, and Demo meetings.
• Attend weekly engineering team meetings to understand the organization’s goals and priorities.
• Occasionally be tasked to assist the Support Team, resolving issues identified in bug reports that could be originated internally or by the customer.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 7-10 years of software engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Linux and familiarity with it as a development environment.
• Experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and UI/UX Principles.
