Position Overview

The Senior Level Systems Analyst will provide technical support as a Narrowband Consolidated-SATCOM System Expert (C-SSE) for the Canadian- Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases. This position will require extensive interaction with Canada nationals.

Essential Job Function

• Execute various project management responsibilities to include: Determine objectives; Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan; Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress; Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
• Develop definitive technical solutions that consider systems architecture, interoperability, interfaces, protocols, networking, expansion potential and overall end-to-end compatibility.
• Works at senior level to define, integrate, and implement strategic direction for Narrowband programs having long-term effects.
• Participate as consultant, advisor, or member in various DoD, Joint, and MILDEP planning and working groups.
• Responsible for the development, preparation and coordination of Narrowband SATCOM and related information systems plans defining concepts, programmatics, and system initiatives.
• Analyze, evaluate, and recommend solutions to future communications and automation operational challenges.
• Writes policies, plans and procedures for Canadian access to MUOS capacity.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Department of Defense (DOD) SATCOM.
• Must have a Bachelor of Science degree or higher Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in SATCOM principles, technical analysis, and problem solving.
• Must have a TS with SCI eligibility.
• Must be a United States citizen.
