Small Animal Emergency Clinic is Hiring an Associate Veterinarian Near Colorado, CO
- Clinic is open nights, weekends, and holidays
- Emergency and urgent care only: no routine procedures and very little long-term follow-up / maintenance of cases
- Only emergency clinic in the northern Texas Panhandle; receive referrals from ~ 150-mile radius in all directions and serve a wide range of races, cultures, and socioeconomic levels
- Shifts are either 12 or 13 hours
- full-time is 3 shifts per week, average of 12 shifts per month
- shifts are typically grouped together so that every week, employees have four days off in a row (but this is flexible)
- Compensation and benefits
- ProSal
- Guaranteed base salary of $750 for a 12-hour shift or $812.50 for a 13-hour shift ($62.50/hr)
- 25% production past base times four
- No negative accrual
- Full-time vets earn between $140k and $200k per year, depending upon production
