Gastroenterology Associates of Colorado Springs (GACS) is a private practice of board certified gastroenterologists committed to providing outstanding care. Our goal is to provide excellent care in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. Our mission is to aid in improving your digestive health and also be a resource to your primary care physician. We offer a wide variety of gastroenterology services including inpatient/outpatient consultation, hemorrhoid treatment, upper endoscopy and colonoscopy and much more.

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our Gastroenterology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient care, performing medical procedures, and assisting with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a strong knowledge of Gastroenterology. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a growing team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures, such as endoscopies and colonoscopies.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and collect specimens.
  • Record patient information in medical records.
  • Administer medications as directed by the physician.
  • Assist with patient education and health promotion activities related to gastroenterology.
  • Ensure the safety of patients during procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
