The Grounds Supervisor is a working supervisor. Overall responsibility for the campus exterior including landscape, paved surfaces and athletic fields. The Grounds Supervisor provides daily oversight and delegation of work to the grounds team members. The Grounds Supervisor works with the Operations Manager and Service Response to establish work priorities, allocate resources, work orders, customer follow-up and quality control. The Grounds Supervisor conducts daily planning and assists the Director of Facilities and Operations Manager in long-range planning. The Grounds Supervisor plans, resources and executes projects. The Grounds Supervisor fills in for the Support Services Supervisor as needed. Employees of Ursinus College must possess excellent customer service skills and have an overall concern for the general welfare of the college and community and provide the best possible environment for education and student living.
