Teal's Market in Gwinner, ND, seeks a dedicated and customer-focused Deli Cook to join our team. We pride ourselves on our friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable associates, quality products, and competitive prices. Our commitment to excellent customer service and giving back to our community sets us apart. As a Deli Cook, you will be crucial in maintaining this commitment and ensuring our customers have the best shopping experience possible. The working hours for this position are 9 am- 3 pm Monday through Friday and 2-3 hours every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Assisting customers by recommending foods, providing samples of meats and cheeses, and responding to inquiries and requests.
- Cutting, weighing, packaging, and pricing meats and cheeses.
- Frying food as required.
- Maintaining clean work areas and updating displays.
- Ensuring freshness of products and maintaining accurate dates.
- Informing customers about specials, promotions, and new items.
Qualifications
- Basic math skills (Preferred).
- Availability for Night Shift (Required).
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
