About the Role
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible to assemble a variety of ADG products within a team environment according to the Production schedule. Experience with hand tools, power tools a must. Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1-year previous manufacturing experience and have basic computer skills. Willing to train a mechanically inclined person.
Key Responsibilities
Duties will include, but not limited to:
· Use hand powered tools to perform basic assembly operations.
· Identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement to Production Manager to provide safer operations, higher quality, lower cost, and reduction of waste
· Coordinate work with other team members and teams to provide a steady flow of product.
· Keep work areas clean and organized.
Qualified candidates should offer the following experiences and skills
A combination of education and experience will be considered.
· Must be able to work in a team environment with other production team members
· Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, manufacturing principles required
· Basic computer skills
· Basic literacy and numeracy skills
· At least one year's experience, in manufacturing environment, a plus.
· Punctual, professional & responsible
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
· This is an on-site position that will be based in our headquarters in Cohoes, NY.
· Must be legally eligible to work in the US.
