- Responsible for providing assistance with non-nursing related functions.
- Answers call lights promptly and determines resident needs. May provide general assistance to residents, but cannot provide cares or assist with transfers.
- Check for admissions and prepare rooms.
- Make beds and organizes/cleans resident rooms.
- Deliver water/snacks to residents.
- Answer phone in pod.
- Stock bathrooms and resident rooms with needed items.
- Empty garbage.
- Transport residents to/from activities.
- Assist in dining if needed, but cannot feed residents.
- Set up and deliver meal trays.
- Pick up tub rooms and public areas as needed.
- Wash wheelchairs as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Ability to interact favorably with residents, families/visitors, and staff.
- Enjoy working with the senior population.
