Direct Support Professional
Job Description :
The role of the Direct Support Professional is to be a caregiver for our individuals and assist them in their daily activities and to integrate / engage in their community.
Schedule & Location :
- Both AM and PM Shifts available at Clinton, SC. Special Needs Facility
- AM Shift : 6 am TO 2 pm; PM Shift : 2 pm to 10 PM : Overnight Shift 10 PM to 6 AM.
Job Duties :
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene and medication administration.
- Accompanying individuals on outings and activities.
- Continually remain active, alert and able to respond to all scenarios.
- Utilize various verbal and physical behavioral interventions.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including operations, clinical and medical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans for our individuals.
Required Education / Experience / Skills :
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB test.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Possess Patience, excellent communication.
- Basic computer skills.
