Moreland Daycare is Hiring an Early Childhood Educator Near Clinton, MO

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate learning experiences that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.

Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards as per the Experience Early Learning Curriculum. All supplies will be provided for you!
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where children can learn and grow
- Provide individualized instruction and support to meet the unique needs of each child
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor children's progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly-ASQs completed 2x annually
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and address any concerns or questions

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience working with children in a tutoring or educational setting
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies for children with special needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively educate and engage young children in learning activities
- Knowledge of child welfare guidelines and best practices for preschool-aged children
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development, including incorporating math concepts into daily activities
