FLACRA is Hiring a COOK- Per Diem Near Clifton Springs, NY
Duties
- Oversee all activities pertaining to the kitchen and dining room.
- Ensure proper food preparation and handling.
- Assist with the preparation and service of well balanced meals for residential clients.
- Assist with train for and supervise kitchen and dining room activities perform by clients completing community service.
- Assist with maintaining compliance with health department, OASAS and Food Link.
- Participate in general, staff, in-service and supervisory meetings held by the Agency.
- Accommodate clients regarding special dietary needs.
- Ensure kitchen workers follow approved menus.
- Perform other duties and functions as directed.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with culturally diverse persons, staff and community service providers.
- Ability to multi-task, have good problem solving skills and the ability to remain calm in crisis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort within community and crisis services
- Computer literacy required, specifically Word and Excel experience.

Job RequirementsExperience with E-Record preferred. CASAC preferred.
- Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalency. Food service experience is required.. Valid NYS Drivers’ License.
