Fette Automotive Group in Clifton, New Jersey is expanding and looking to fill an Automotive Accountant position. We are a busy 3 franchise dealership group looking for experienced self-starters with strong knowledge of accounting to join our team! Our inventory levels are back and increasing every day to an all time high and our goal is to make sure we provide our growing client base with the best service, and we need the best people in-house to continue these efforts.

Responsibilities
● Reconcile accounts and schedules
● Book/Cost out deals (deal breaking)
● Verify figures with Sales and F&I Departments/submit warranties
● General bookkeeping/accounting tasks
● Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
● Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
● Invoicing
● Preparation and maintenance of financial reports
● Prepares tax and title documents
● Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles and generates plates and registrations
Qualifications
● Title Clerk experience is helpful
● Financial Software & Excel Experience Required
● Automotive Accounting / CDK experience preferred
● Administrative Writing Skills
● Organization, Data Entry, and General Math Skills
● Two years of experience in dealership accounting preferred
● Excellent communication skills
● Professional appearance
● Positive attitude
