City of Cleburne is Hiring a Golf Course Foreman Near Cleburne, TX
BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This is a working supervisory position that involves a combination of duties including; supervision, maintenance and agronomic management of the golf course, maintenance equipment, irrigation systems, vehicles, related buildings/facilities and perform the daily activities necessary to perform the functions of the position. Acts as the Golf Course Superintendent in the absence of the Golf Course Superintendent. Directs team of maintenance workers and seasonal staff in maintaining the golf course.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or its equivalent, and five years of experience in golf course maintenance and at least two years of experience in a supervisory capacity preferred; must have proven management and problem solving skills.
2 year program certificate for turf grass management and/or 4 year degree in agronomy or horticulture with a turf grass management focus.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED: A Valid Class C Texas driver license and the ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record
Texas Department of Agriculture Spray License or ability to obtain within six (6) months
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.13 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
