QC-QA Specialist

The QC-QA Specialist is responsible for maintaining quality standards for production processes and products. This role involves implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The QC-QA Specialist works closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues and also collaborates with other departments to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control:
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product quality.
  • Conduct routine inspections and tests to assess product quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Identify and address deviations from quality standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and results.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to prevent defects and errors.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to address quality issues.
  • Implement and implement enhancements to quality control and assurance processes.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence throughout the organization.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare reports summarizing quality control and assurance activities, findings, and recommendations.
  • Maintain documentation of quality control procedures, standards, and specifications.
  • Communicate quality-related information effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in quality control and assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, specifications, and drawings.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in quality control tools and methodologies
