Burnetti, P.A. is Hiring a Litigation Paralegal Near Clearwater, FL

WE ARE GROWING!! Burnetti, P.A. has been serving the injured people of Florida for over 25 years plus and is seeking a full time Litigation Paralegal experience with any of the following law practices: Personal Injury, for our Clearwater Office.

*The firm will not consider applicants that are tobacco users.*

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Pay Range: Based on experience

Essential Job Functions:

  • Communicating and corresponding with clients, providers and others in the legal community;
  • Maintaining client files;
  • Calculate and manage deadlines;
  • Review, analyze and summarize case files;
  • Review, draft and file legal documents such as discovery responses, motions and other pleadings for attorneys;
  • Assisting attorneys with preparation of cases for trial
  • Attending trial with attorneys and assisting throughout trial
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Ability:

  • A minimum of 2 years as a litigation paralegal (experience with Personal Injury)
  • Ability to proficiently prioritize a heavy work load
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understand legal terminology and procedures;
  • Critical thinking skills with great attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team player;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Sharepoint;
  • Experience with NEOS Case Management (Needles) software is a plus
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not necessary

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and/or GED Required
  • Completion of an Accredited Paralegal program and/or certificate preferred
  • Associate's Degree or comparable work experience
