Hire Up Staffing and Healthcare is seeking a Scheduling Associate for one of our healthcare clients in Clearlake, CA. This is a 13 week assignment with the possibility of being extended or hired on permanently.

Schedule : Dayshift 8 hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Starting pay $20-$23 / hr. DOE.

Job Summary :

Ensures all Home Health and Hospice patient visits are staffed by employees appropriate for the discipline required for patient care.

Essential Functions :

• Schedules supervisory visits for select staff and assists with scheduling of re-assessments for speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy.
• Assigns all disciplines and clinicians in clinical point of care system. Assists with changes in staff schedules and reassigns patients appropriately.

Maintains on call coverage schedule.

• Notifies billing department staff of non-Medicare insurance patients and their care schedules. Communicates patient information to appropriate staff, as needed.
• Provides assistance to other administrative roles as needed, including the Home Health Patient Associate.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Education and Work Experience :
• High School Education / GED or equivalent
• 1 years of clerical experience in a medical setting
